The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola carries you from the forested lower slopes near Fort William up to the snowsports area on Aonach Mòr. Even if you're not skiing or biking, the short walks from the top station lead to superb viewpoints over Ben Nevis, the Great Glen and Loch Linnhe. On clear days it's one of the easiest ways to access true high-mountain scenery without a big hike. Facilities include a café and information boards, and in summer the area buzzes with downhill mountain bikers using the gondola uplifts.
