Day by Day
Day 1: Loch Lomond, Glencoe & Fort William
Scenic A82 drive through Loch Lomond and Glencoe; overnight in Fort William. Optional: short sunset viewpoint near Glencoe if weather allows.

Day 2: Glenfinnan to Skye
Morning at Glenfinnan; on to Eilean Donan Castle via Glen Shiel; cross to Skye. Arrive Portree for the evening. Optional: quick coastal walk or village food stop around Kyle before crossing.

Day 3: Full Skye Day
Classic Trotternish loop: Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing; add Fairy Glen if time and conditions allow. Overnight Portree. Optional: evening stroll in Portree harbour or local seafood dinner.

Day 4: Skye to Inverness
Optional: Fairy Pools or Cuillin viewpoints in morning; then cross back to mainland. Drive via lochs and glens toward Inverness. Evening in Inverness. Optional: revisit Eilean Donan for different light.

Day 5: Loch Ness & Return
Urquhart Castle, possible short cruise; final Highland views; then drive south to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Optional: last stop at a village café or distillery en route.
